DIY Coconut Flavored Lipgloss

I have been on a coconut kick lately. The coconut face mist is wonderful (see first post) and I have started drinking coconut water, which is delicious and detoxifying. I was researching different ways to incorporate more coconut into my life and I came across a DIY coconut lipgloss that is made in FOUR easy steps. Yes!

Ingredients needed:

1. Organic coconut oil ( can be found at a co-op, vitamin store or even a drug store.)I personally use the organic, cold pressed coconut oil, made by Barlean’s Organic Oils, because it tastes WONDERFUL and it is full of nutrients.

2. Orange or strawberry oil or you can use vanilla, peppermint or almond extract.

3. A small container. ( a lipgloss container, a small tupperware container, etc.)

4. Small bowl and measuring spoons.

-----------------------------------------------
Combine ingredients:
Step 1: Add 1 Tbsp. of the coconut oil to the small bowl.

Step 2: Add a few drops of your vanilla, peppermint, almond extract or your strawberry or orange oil.

Step 3: Mix them together and then put into the small container.

Step 4: Rub on your lips.
Why use this special recipe? The nutrients from the coconut oil will help with cracked and dry winter lips in just one day and the ingredients are organic that are filled with nutrients. Plus you know it wasn’t tested on an animal! lol
