The film follows a young boy, Oskar Schell, on an adventure to find the lock belonging to a key he found in his dad’s closet after his father was killed in the September 11th attacks, leaving Oskar with only questions and no answers. The incredible Tom Hanks plays his dad in flashbacks and his mom is played by the awesome Sandra Bullock.
I would give this movie 9.5/ 10 stars! The plot is so different than anything I have ever seen and the acting is brilliant. I am shocked that the boy who plays Oskar, Thomas Horn, is not nominated for Best Actor. He is truly inspiring and portrays this character so wonderful, that he gives George Clooney a run for his money. I 100% recommend going to see this movie. Warning: There are some scenes that may cause tears!
