The Best and Worst Dressed of The 2012 Academy Awards

Best Dressed:
Octavia Spencer not only won an Oscar last night for Best Supporting Actress, she also won for being one of the best dressed of the night. She looked so beautiful in this Tadashi Shoji gown. The color of the gown compliments her skin tone and the beading on the dress is so beautiful.
Oh my gosh! I loved Michelle Williams’ look last night! This awards season, she hasn’t really been bringing it like we know she can. But last night she proved that she can do it in this coral Louis Vuitton gown. So many ladies went with red last night and I cannot stand red on a red carpet, but this coral is great! The little broach on her right side really adds to the outfit. LOVE IT!
Even though Giuliana Rancic wasn’t nominated or doesn’t star in films, she looked GREAT last night! She was E! news’ correspondent, but she out shined most the ladies that walked the red carpet last night. This Tom Ford gown was perfect for the red carpet and the detail on the dress is near perfect. The only tiny change I would have made... her hair... maybe not so slicked back.

Worst Dressed:
I was SO disappointed by Shailene Woodley’s choice in dress for The Oscars. All though I can honestly say I wasn’t too surprised, she has dressed terribly this whole award season! This Markesa dress is all wrong for The Oscars, let alone for a 22 year old. Better luck next year... if you’re ever in a film again! Maybe you should stick to being a teen mom on The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
NO, JUST NO!!!! J-Lo’s dress looks like it is more for The Grammy’s rather than The Oscars. She looks like she is still Jenny from the block and can’t afford a decent dress. This Zuhair Murad dress is certainly flattering on her curves, but it's way too casual for The Oscars. The cut outs on her arms are too 2002 and it looks as if she is about to have a nip slip. Stick to American Idol and dating a 26 year old.
Awww! Poor Anna Farris, she can’t decide how old she is! The cut and fitting of the dress makes her look old! Why cover up every single piece of your body while you’ve still got it? If you’ve got it, flaunt it! This 35 year old must have chosen this Diane Von Furstenberg for her grandma, but decided to keep it. Anna, you are a REALLY pretty girl. Please dress your age and choose a color other than black for The Oscars. You should have chosen a dress that complimented your bob haircut and your age.

Last night was definitely about the creams and the reds! Hopefully the worst dressed will work on getting a new stylist for next year’s award season and hopefully the best dressed give their stylist a raise! :) ps. look back at my Oscar predictions... I was right for them all!!! :)
